Training program “Step Up to Fight Diabetes”

Today the American Diabetes Association (ADA) officially launched its 12-week training program for “Step Up to Fight Diabetes,” an event in which participants walk a 10-mile route and climb the 25 staircases they pass along the way.
More than 21 million Americans currently have diabetes, which is the fastest-growing disease in America.
The Step Up to Fight Diabetes event seeks to decrease diabetes’ drastically growing numbers through diabetes awareness, information and advocacy, and to challenge individuals to commit to improving the dire state of diabetes.
